Salary: £26,769 – £28,350 + shift enhancements (£1/hour nights & weekends)
Shifts: 8-hour rotations (0600–1400 / 1400–2200 / 2200–0600)
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.
Role Overview:
A hands-on, security-focused role supporting the safe and efficient operation of a residential site. Ideal for ex-military personnel with experience in guard duty, patrols, incident response, or site security. You will act as a key point of contact, maintaining safety, responding to incidents, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
• Monitor CCTV and control site access
• Act as first point of contact for residents, staff, and visitors
• Support site operations with practical, task-based work
• Maintain accurate incident logs and handovers
• Communicate effectively with team members and escalate where required
Candidate Profile:
• Military or security background strongly aligned
• Experience in incident response, access control, or guard duties
• Strong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Basic IT competency (logging, reporting, CCTV systems)
• Understanding of health & safety and fire procedures
• Practical, adaptable, and team-oriented
• Full UK driving licence required
• Ability to pass an enhanced CRB check as you will be working with vulnerable people.
