Duties as KS2 Teacher:- Deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum using provided plans
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed learning environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching approaches to support diverse learning needs
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole‑school life during longer‑term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible and adaptable across year groups and varied school environments
- Positive, organised, and committed to delivering high‑quality teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
