About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and proactive Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to support pupils in primary schools across Rotherham and Doncaster. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support pupils' social and emotional development
- Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and SENCOs

Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs and classroom environments
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. , Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
