Summary
The duties of the post include:
- Planning of Church Programs and Activities
- Coordination of Departmental Heads and Units of the Church
- Regular Preaching and Teaching in Church Services
- Leading the Church’s Evangelism programs and missionary outreaches
- All other functions as assigned by the Parish Pastor of the Church
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required for Assistant Parish Pastor (Minister of Religion)
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, a degree in theology would be an added advantage
- A minimum of 2 years of experience or volunteer work in a church is needed
- Must be Fluent in English (Required); a knowledge of at least one African
Languages will be an added advantage
- Must be a faithful Christian and be able to uphold basic Christian doctrines.
- He/she should be able to work with diverse members of the congregation.
