A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client in Dunfermline.
Hours:
Monday- 10:30am- 10:30pm
Tuesday-Thursday- 10:30am-7:00pm
Friday- 11:am-4:30pm
Please not this job requires flexibility. Order pick deadlines are in place, and the team are required to finish orders before leaving.
This position is working in a very busy warehouse and 20k steps are usually completed per shift and is very physically demanding due to repetitive orders picked.
The main responsibilities of this role:
Picking, packing orders to customers’ requirements to 100% accuracy
Working as a team to ensure order deadlines are met
Loading and unloading
Supports peaks and troughs across multiple departments
Skills required to be a Warehouse Operative:
Order picking and packing
Working to order pick deadlines
Learn quickly
Work independently
Adapt to different tasks as needed
Ensuring orders are 100% correct
Working as part of the team to get the orders are picked
Excellent communication skills
