Beaumont College provides education and support for young people with learning and physical disabilities. Alongside its educational provision, the college offers residential accommodation for students who require additional care and support.
The residential service provides around-the-clock support, helping students develop independence and everyday living skills. Staff support students with their individual care needs, daily routines and personal development, while encouraging choice, inclusion and participation in daily life. The care provided within the residential service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, ensuring that students receive high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity and active participation in the community.

About The Role
About the Role
We are currently looking to recruit a CQC Registered Manager for our residential provision located within the college grounds. The Registered Manager will have overall operational responsibility for the service, ensuring it runs safely, effectively and in line with regulatory requirements. The role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and support while managing and supporting the wider staff team.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery

- Monitor and support the delivery of person-centred services within the residential provision.
- Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of students and staff.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards.

Staff Leadership and Supervision

- Recruit, supervise and support Deputy Managers, Team Leaders and Senior Support Workers.
- Provide coaching, guidance and performance management to develop staff and maintain high standards of care.

Financial and Operational Management

- Manage service budgets and ensure effective deployment of staff resources.

IT and Quality Assurance

- Use internal IT systems to monitor staffing, incidents, training, compliance and service quality.

External Collaboration

- Work with external professionals, commissioners and partner agencies to promote the service and support referrals and placements.

Staff Development

- Support staff through inductions, training and ongoing professional development.
- Continuously develop your own knowledge and practice to support service improvement.
