Dependent on experience
37.5 hours per week
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15
Friday: 07:30 – 12:00 (early finish)
Full training provided for the right candidate.

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused operator to support our surface mount production line at our Northallerton manufacturing facility.
The role supports the day-to-day running of our SMT production line including feeder setup, machine operation and product changeovers.
This role involves working on a variety of electronic assemblies rather than high-volume repetitive production.
Typical duties include:
• Loading and setting up components on surface mount feeders
• Supporting the operation of surface mount pick-and-place machines (Mycronic / Mydata)
• Carrying out visual inspection of PCB assemblies
• Hand fitting components when required
• Working from assembly drawings and build instructions
• Maintaining good housekeeping and production standards

• Reliable and organised approach to work
• Ability to follow written work instructions and engineering drawings
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, SMT production or PCB assembly would be beneficial but is not essential.
Experience operating Mycronic / Mydata surface mount machines would be advantageous.
