The home offers specialist and complex care for up to 80 residents across four 20 bed bungalow style households. Designed to support calm, therapeutic living, the home provides high quality care for people living with advanced dementia, complex nursing needs and mental health conditions in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a commissioning care home and play an important role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment from the very beginning. As a Domestic Assistant, you will support the daily running of the home by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas.
You will carry out a range of cleaning duties including bedrooms, communal areas and bathrooms, ensuring all spaces are well presented and comfortable for residents, visitors and colleagues. You will also support with laundry, ensuring clothes and linens are handled safely, cleaned to a high standard and returned appropriately.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will follow infection prevention and health and safety procedures at all times. Your role will contribute directly to residents’ wellbeing, helping to create an environment where they feel safe, comfortable and at home.

- Previous domestic or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
