Summary
Applicants are invited to apply for a fixed term part time maternity cover Specialty Doctor in Palliative Medicine post based at Sobell House in the Churchill Hospital, Oxford, and Katharine House Hospice, Banbury.
This post is suitable for a capable enthusiastic doctor with full GMC registration and an MRCP or MRCGP qualification or equivalent who is keen to join a dynamic team. The applicant should have experience in palliative medicine, primary care or other related specialties.
The successful applicant will be expected to work throughout the service – including in the specialist inpatient palliative care unit, the acute hospital, community, including Rapid Intervention for Palliative and End of Life Care (RIPEL), day services or clinics. The successful applicant will participate in the specialist on-call rota (on-call supplement applies).
Educational opportunities, equivalent to those afforded to doctors participating in recognised training schemes will be provided.
