We're looking for a Hygiene Operative who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

We are looking for a reliable and hard‑working individual to join our hygiene team, focusing on the safe and effective cleaning of silo basements within a food manufacturing environment. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance on site.Key Responsibilities
Carry out thorough cleaning of silo basements, including dust removal, floor cleaning, and waste clearance.Operate cleaning equipment safely and in line with training (e.g., vacuums, brushes, sweepers).Follow all site hygiene and safety procedures, including DSEAR‑related controls.Identify and report hazards, maintenance issues, or access concerns immediately.Complete required paperwork such as checklists and cleaning records.Work closely with the hygiene supervisor and operations team to prioritise tasks.Ensure safe working practices at all times, especially when working around confined, dusty, or low‑light areas.
Requirements
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.Comfortable working in enclosed or dusty areas (full PPE provided).Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.Previous hygiene or industrial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided.
