Summary
Are you a dedicated, passionate and resilient individual who strives to ensure young people's needs are met as they evolve into adulthood? Do you have 2 years' minimum experience with UK based Ofsted registered children's residential care and can demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills?
As an established and leading provider of residential care across the North West, we are seeking an experienced, and competent individual who is currently working in a Senior position with young people in UK based residential care and has at least 12 months UK based experience in a Senior position along with a Level 3 diploma in Children's residential care (or equivalent) to be considered for this post.
Our warm and welcoming home based in Warrington, Cheshire provides 24 hour care and support for up to 2 young people with challenging behaviours and autism, we have created a safe haven as our young people progress into adulthood and beyond

The role of the Deputy Manager is pivotal to the homes' smooth running as you will support and work alongside the Registered Manager of the Residential Children’s Home in efficiently co-managing the house budget, overseeing the development of staff and the young people in placement, formulating and updating placement plans, risk assessments and positive handling plans.
You will demonstrate your strong leadership skills and support our team to deliver person centred childcare to ensure the best outcomes for our young people.
It is essential have good knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and the Quality Care Standards.
As directed by your Manager ensure that the home is fit for purpose by ensuring that Fire Regulations and Health and Safety Regulations are met, Quality Assurance and Regulation 44 Reports action points are addressed promptly.
Supporting the Manager in the performance and development of staff by conducting regular supervisions and annual appraisal process.
Shifts will be 2 on 3 off in line with other team members the hourly rate is up to £15.50 plus a sleep bonus of £60 per completed sleep (6-8 per month)
You will also be given the opportunity to progress further and step into a Registered Manager role, we have a proven track record of enabling you to take the next step, we can facilitate this with training, guidance and many years Senior Management experience to help you on your journey
