Are you a proactive, creative, and highly organised individual looking for a hands-on role in a growing online retail business?
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and versatile lead who thrives on variety and can take full ownership of our daily operations.
The Role
We are looking for an immediate start to this comprehensive role covering everything from the creation of high-level digital content to the physical fulfilment of orders. You will be the heartbeat of the business, ensuring our customers are happy and our digital stock levels are kept fully up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory & Sourcing: Full inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and sourcing products from existing and new suppliers to keep our range fresh and competitive.
• Social Media & Marketing: Creating engaging video and photo content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok; designing and sending fortnightly newsletters to our customer base.
• E-commerce Management: Full setup of new products in WooCommerce, maintaining website, taking high-quality product photos, writing descriptions, proactively promoting stock sale events to include pricing actions.
• Daily Operations: Managing stock levels and handling end-to-end order fulfilment processes (picking, packing, and shipping).
• Customer Experience: Acting as the primary point of contact via phone, email, and limited in-person visits. You’ll handle all queries with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Inventory Management: Managing and creating key stock and sales reports.
• Admin & Finance: Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, processing invoices and managing general shop administration.
About You:
• Experienced: Previous experience in social media and online retail is essential. Proficiency working with Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, WordPress and WooCommerce platforms, social media marketing with basic digital and content design.
• Proactive & Focused: You have a "can-do" attitude and proven attention to detail.
• Engaging: Naturally friendly, easy to talk to, and 100% customer-focused.
• Reliable: Comfortable working from our country-based location near Ongar (parking provided)
• Adaptable: You are happy to pivot from creative content creation to product packing and dispatch alongside inventory management.
