Summary
Are you a strong administrator with procurement, audit or supply chain experience, looking for a role with purpose and where your contribution truly makes a difference in peoples' lives?
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join our brilliant Procurement team, initially on a fixed term contract basis until September 2027, following an exciting internal secondment opportunity.
We are going through a period of exciting transformation and, as a Procurement team, we are looking to provide assurance on all aspects of our supply chain and to implement controls on the purchasing of our materials, goods, and services.
As our Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in managing the new supplier set up process, you'll manage and maintain the Groups contract register and will work across the Group, building a strong culture and awareness of compliant procurement and the benefits of good supply chain management.
This is a highly administrative role in a fast-paced team and would suit someone who is self-driven with a strong background in administration, procurement, or audit. You'll collaborate with various teams throughout the organisation and engage with suppliers, requiring confident communication abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
What are we are looking for?
-Proven experience of working in a similar administrative role, such as procurement or audit.
-Confident communicator with experience of developing relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
-Experience of producing corporate reports, for financial, procurement and/or compliance.
-Excellent time management and organisational skills, able to prioritise workload
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite
-Strong administration skills and attention to detail
-CIPS or Audit/Assurance (IIA, CIPFA or ACCA) qualification or equivalent desirable, but we're happy to offer study support towards CIPS upon successful completion of probation.
While this role is home based, you should be within a commutable distance to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
