Summary
The successful applicant will be supported and upskilled to gain experience in a leadership role to include the following responsibilities; Co-running Home Pathway with service lead and band 7 Lead PT. Supervision of junior staff (Nursing Rehabilitation Assistants), PTs and OTs. Individual caseload management and supervision of team caseload management. Completing return to work and managing sickness as per policy. Carrying out detailed and timely appraisals in keeping with KPIs Co-lead on the coordination of all discharges from the Home Pathway Team. Lead on therapy input in the weekly consultant-led MDT. The post holder will be expected to streamline processes to support efficiency within the Home Pathway. Service development; a review of current occupational therapy services and an innovative approach to developing new aspects of the service. Lead on competency training for nursing rehabilitation assistants and therapy staff Completing Audits Supporting patient allocations with the admin team and reviewing new patients in the service.
