Summary
To act as an expert clinical Lead for Maternity Telephone Triage, providing professional advice to other midwives within these settings, to deliver high quality, modern, women and family centred services. The post holder will be required to ensure the smooth daily running of Maternity Telephone Triage. Encompassing National Agendas, to lead by example and provide clinical supervision. The post holder will have management responsibility for the efficient running of the Maternity Telephone Triage department at Worthing Hospital. The post holder will be an expert in the assessment of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care. They will take overall responsibility for developing specialised programmes of care for women calling into Maternity Telephone Triage, working closely with other health professionals to ensure individual packages of care are created to maximise best practice. The post holder will be included on the Manager On-Call rota to support operational management 24/7. Please refer to job description for full details of the role.
