Job Title: Material Handler

We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler to join our team and learn new skills and experience whilst enhancing those already attained. The role demands accuracy, diligence, resilience and would suit a self-motivated individual.
FTV Proclad International Limited is a worldwide market and technological leader in the protective weld cladding of pipeline components.
Due to current success in securing orders we are currently looking to recruit a Material Handler to join our team at our Glenrothes facility. A market competitive wage will be offered depending on experience. Benefits of employment include 33 days holiday per year on a pro-rata basis (including public holidays), an employer pension contribution of 5% of salary and life assurance.
Outline of Roles & Responsibilities
• Movement of shop floor components in a safe manner.
• Ensure the shop floor and back yard is kept neat and tidy at all times.
• Ensure that the scrap metal and general waste are allocated to the designated skip.
• Assist production personnel where required.
• Assist with stores / packing where required.
• Loading / unloading transport where required.
• Daily filling of machines with oil / coolant as required.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• In addition to your normal duties, ensure all work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner as per company procedures.
• Ensure maximum productivity & adherence to Health & Safety procedures.
• Be proactive and work efficiently in daily tasks without the need for constant supervision.
Education and / or Experience
• Previous experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, lifting slings would be advantageous.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Strong personality, well organised.
• Self-motivated, well balanced.
• Team player.
