Summary
Sanderson Groundcare Ltd is looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our professional team. This role involves maintaining landscaped areas to a high standard across commercial and managed sites.
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in grounds maintenance, who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of presentation, consistency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
Strimming and edging
Hedge cutting and pruning
Shrub and planted bed maintenance
Weed control and general site tidiness
Leaf clearance and seasonal grounds work
Daily checks and safe operation of machinery
Working independently and as part of a team
Maintaining high standards across all sites
Essential Requirements:
-Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
-Experience maintaining landscaped areas
-Competent using professional grounds maintenance machinery
-Full UK driving licence
-Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
-Good attention to detail
Desirable (but not essential)
PA1 / PA6 certificates
First Aid qualification
