Summary
Job Title: Head Chef
Accountable to the Director
Job descriptions-
The candidate will be required to ensure the requisitions are done on due time, manage purchases and inspect food stock from contracted suppliers to ensure their quality, expiry dates etc. The chef would also be required to introduce new dishes to the menu and update it accordingly to the business requirements, as well as overseeing the preparations of the curries to ensure the standard of the finished dishes are maintained. The chef would also be responsible for supervising and organising kitchen staff to conduct an effective work flow during the busiest periods. In addition to this, the individual will also be responsible for maintaining the food hygiene and health and safety standards within the kitchen. An Ideal candidate would maintain the kitchen work such as fetching, clearing and of the equipment and used utensils. The Chef would also require training the junior staff and maintaining its standard. And ability to work under pressure in busy period of our business.
Experience: As this is a huge responsible role the candidate is desirable to possess appropriate work experience in a similar position.
Language requirement: English and South Indian speaker preferable.
Salary offered: £30,000 to £40,000 depending on the level of experience.
