Role responsibilities – Retail/Trade Sales Assistant:
• Providing exceptional customer service and experiences, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through your enthusiasm, excellent sales service, and product knowledge
• Confidently engaging with customers and team members
• Driving sales performance through our training
• Understanding customers' needs and giving advice and inspiration for customers’ requirements
• Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers
• Generating new trade leads
• Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance
• Resolving customer queries in a professional manner
• You will need to have a smart appearance as this is a customer-facing role
• Manual lifting will be involved
• You must be able to work as part of a team and be flexible to cover store open hours, weekends, and bank holidays
Requirements for the Retail/Trade Sales Assistant
• Previous experience in a retail sales role or environment is preferable but not essential,l as training will be provided
• Friendly, helpful, and confident with an engaging personality
• You will be comfortable with dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner
• Ability to demonstrate energy, drive,ive and a positive can-do attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
• Able to easily build rapport
• Able to ensure a complete customer experience
