Summary
Action Staffing LTD is seeking an experienced, motivated, and professional Nursery Room Leader to join a high-quality Early Years setting. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for the daily management of a base room, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are met for all children.
As a Room Leader, you will lead a small team of practitioners, overseeing the implementation of the EYFS and fostering a nurturing, creative, and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of Nursery Assistants and Practitioners.
EYFS Implementation: Lead the planning and delivery of age-appropriate, play-based learning activities.
Key Person Role: Oversee child observations, assessments, and learning journals within your room.
Safeguarding: Act as a lead for safeguarding and health and safety within your designated area.
Parent Partnership: Maintain professional and effective communication with parents and carers.
Room Management: Ensure the room is organized, stimulating, and meets all Ofsted requirements.

Qualification: Full and Relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential (NVQ Level 3, CACHE, NNEB, or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Practitioner or Room Leader in a Private Day Nursery.

Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check is required (or willingness to undergo a new one).
