Summary
Legal Business Administration Apprentice
Are you looking to start your career in law and business administration? This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but growing legal team based in Bedford town centre. As a Legal Assistant Administrator Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across legal administration, basic accounts, and marketing while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
You’ll be supported by experienced professionals and develop valuable skills that can lead to long-term career progression within the legal sector.
The Role
As a Legal Assistant Administrator Apprentice, you will support the legal team with a wide range of day-to-day duties, including:
Opening and closing client files, including completing money laundering and identity verification checks
Managing incoming and outgoing post, including franking and envelope preparation
Answering telephone calls and handling client enquiries professionally
Assisting clients with document release requests and general queries
Supporting the bookkeeper with basic accounts tasks, including maintaining standing order mandate databases
Managing client and internal emails
Filing documents and arranging secure document storage
Assisting with marketing activities, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms
Requirements
Desirable Qualifications
GCSE (or equivalent) in:
English – Grade 3 or above
Maths – Grade 3 or above
Applicants with other relevant qualifications or industry experience are encouraged to apply. The apprenticeship can be adapted to reflect prior knowledge and experience.
