What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll be accountable for our technology programme and project lifecycles to deliver sustainable business outcomes, while ensuring all governance, risk, finances and resources are managed effectively across a range of delivery methodologies.

You’ll prepare a financial business forecasts for the Identity and Access Management Transformation programme with a clear line of sight to customer value being delivered in accordance with the technology investment portfolio and funding requirements.

Additionally, you’ll drive the focus on delivering customer value by following the defined programme as directed by senior managers, including the preferred technology methodology in partnership with various stakeholders, while making sure they follow the appropriate objectives, structure and scope.

You’ll also:

  • Work with various teams and the relevant centres of excellence, to ensure the appropriate resources with the right skills and capabilities to deliver technology outcomes are assigned to deliver the programme

  • Build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises and functions, influencing decision making in line with business objectives

  • Understand the impacts other programmes or domain backlogs may have and manage the dependencies

  • Oversee multiple workstreams or projects across technology, business and vendors driving integration, transformation and operational readiness

  • Ensure a seamless transition into BAU support and that BAU is protected from unfit, unready change

  • Proactively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID), translating complex delivery challenges in to clear, actionable plans

  • Engage with a range of stakeholders such as technology, business, Risk, Audit, regulators and similar to ensure programme outcomes meet strategic, operational and compliance reeds

The skills you'll need

We’re on the lookout for someone with a background in Identity and Access Management or Governance with platforms and tooling such as SailPoint, CyberArk and integration into complex enterprise environments. You’ll need knowledge and experience of programme and portfolio management theories, models and practices, such as mandatory, regulatory and scaled Agile and DevOps environments.

We’ll expect you to have great leadership skills coupled with the ability to build and lead high performing teams and coach more junior colleagues along with experience of leading transformation coupled with a growth mindset, leading colleagues through ambiguity and change. In addition, you’ll need the ability to constructively challenge to always deliver high quality outcomes that align to programme, function and strategic objectives.

You’ll also need:

  • An appropriate programme management qualification with experience of managing and controlling costs to a budget

  • Experience of delivering strategic programmes that support the business strategy and its growth agenda

  • To be a very capable communicator with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, with good collaboration and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven credibility in managing programmes within Cyber Security and Identity in large, complex regulated environments

  • The ability to manage cross-functional teams across a range of technology and business areas

  • A strong understanding of Identity lifecycle management including human and non-human, access controls and regulatory frameworks

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a very strong delivery focus to ensure adherence to defined plans and proactive management approach
