Summary
We are seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Facilities Manager to lead our Site Team and ensure the smooth, safe and efficient running of our school campus. Working closely with the Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe learning environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and supporting the daily operations of the school.
The role requires excellent technical knowledge, strong communication skills and a commitment to high standards across all aspects of site management.
Key Responsibilities include :
• Oversee day to day site operations, including caretaking, maintenance, cleaning and grounds.
• Manage maintenance schedules, staff rotas and contractor activity.
• Coordinate safety checks, including alarms, fire equipment and PAT testing.
• Ensure site security, act as key holder and manage CCTV arrangements.
• Monitor utilities and support budget management
• Lead on risk assessments, accident reporting, fire drills and health & safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, best practice and policy.
