Summary
The Lumen Learning Trust is looking to appoint a permanent part-time HR Assistant to join our HR Team. This exciting role will support the Trust’s HR Manager with providing a range of administrative support services to assist effective and efficient HR, payroll and training & development for Southfield Park Primary and Ewell Grove Primary & Nursery School - both schools are located in Epsom. The role requires working at pace and the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure. The successful candidate will be based in Southfield Park Primary and Ewell Grove Primary & Nursery School for at least 4 days of each week - with the possibility of attending a regular, weekly meeting at the Trust's Head Office in Addlestone.25 hours per week, to be worked between 8am and 4pm and over 5 days per week (Monday to Friday). Work pattern to be agreed on appointment.39 weeks a year (term time plus 5 inset days and one additional week to be worked during school holidays).Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable but applications from those with experience outside of education will be considered.

GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths & English
Experience of working in an administrative environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use initiative to work independently as well as part of the HR team
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
