A leading manufacturer of complex mechanical components is looking to add to its progressive quality team. Providing to an international supplier base, this company has an enviable reputation as a market leader in their field across the globe. Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock control and ensure all materials are fully logged and traceable.
- Carry out goods‑in inspections and verify materials against purchase orders and specs.
- Manage quarantine stock and control all non‑conforming materials.
- Review and validate supplier material certificates to ISO 9001 and PED requirements. Liaise with suppliers to request missing or updated certificates.
- Compile and issue certification packs for outgoing orders.
- Keep supplier ISO 9001 certification records up to date.
Progression Opportunity:
- As you develop, you'll take on responsibilities that support the Production Supervisor, building skills across assembly, stock, and manufacturing, with the opportunity to step into a supervisory role long‑term.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Great for candidates seeking long‑term development in manufacturing with a mix of quality and operational experience.
- Suits early-mid‑career candidates with manufacturing or quality experience and confidence handling technical documentation.
- ISO 9001 experience in engineering or manufacturing is beneficial.
