We are seeking a Building Fabric Technician to support a mobile portfolio of buildings, including offices, data sites and modular/porter cabin spaces.
This role is ideal for someone with broad practical maintenance experience who is confident working independently across varied environments.
Job Description
We are looking for someone with a strong customer-service approach, who can manage a diverse workload and respond to tasks raised directly by the client.
This position requires regular travel between sites, therefore a valid UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Comply with all relevant Codes, Regulations and Company Policies relating to building operations and safety.
Carry out general maintenance tasks including bulb changes, fixture checks and minor electrical work such as rewiring, fuses and junction boxes.
Undertake minor plumbing, carpentry and general repair works as required.
Complete cleaning or clearing of general areas and support with furniture/equipment moves.
Assemble furniture or equipment when required.
Support with garden and landscape maintenance, including upkeep of external pathways.
Conduct basic painting, decorating and gutter-clearing tasks.
Replace air-conditioning filters and support internal/external property upkeep including minor door and window repairs.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Experience within Facilities Management or Building Services.
Comfortable working across a wide range of low-level maintenance tasks.
Confident operating in a corporate environment and able to triage jobs across different systems.
Strong customer-service skills with a professional approach and appearance.
Ability to use correct PPE and complete required maintenance records and work orders.
Ability to estimate time/materials and request parts or supplies when needed.
UK driving licence (essential) due to travel across sites.
