Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)
Reporting to: The Employer
Location: London SW5
Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support with social activities and domestic support for 50 hours per month.
Main duties:
Social duties:
keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
attend adult education classes
attend medical appointments
do hobbies such as dog walking, yoga or playing a sport
attend social events such as music gigs or the cinema
attend work.
Personal care: support with performing exercises and making healthy choices daily.
Domestic duties: support with grocery shopping, cooking and serving healthy nutritious meals and snacks and help keep the home environment clean and tidy.
Type of person that you/they are looking for:
Values someone that is kind, caring, honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel and understands equality and diversity.
Specific requirements: Someone with previous care/support worker experience.
Hours of work: 12.5 hours per week -
3 hours – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
3.5 hours – Saturday
Rate of pay: £14.80 per hour

Previous care/support worker experience
Be able to motivate client
Confidentiality
Good at building relationships
Good communicator
A good listener
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
