Summary

Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4 1BD
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)
Pay Rate: Up to £13.90 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

We have recently opened our purpose-built, supported living service in the heart of Ripon, offering 9 modern flats where adults with autism, learning disabilities, brain injuries and mental health needs are supported to live independently, build confidence and enjoy meaningful lives.
This is more than a workplace, it’s a community where people feel understood, valued and empowered to live life their way. Over the coming months, we will be recruiting for Support Workers and Night Support Workers.

About the Role:
Support is shaped around each individual, helping people enjoy everyday routines, develop new skills, access education, and connect with their community.
Support adults with a wide range of needs including autism, learning disabilities, brain injuries and mental health needs
Encourage independence and enhance quality of life
Support people to achieve goals, both big and small
Help create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment
Provide personal care including support with medication, finances, shopping and daily living tasks
Support meaningful activities such as cooking, arts, music and community outings
About You:
Essential -
Good general education
Honesty and reliability
Passion for making a difference
Commitment to training
Desirable -
NVQ Level 2 or above in Social Care
Experience in a care setting
Confident IT skills
Understanding of regulatory frameworks
