This fantastic Primary school in Lewisham are looking to appoint a Level 3 qualifies and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join their team starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality education while also ensuring a safe, supportive and stimulating environment where their students can thrive and reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner:
- To plan, prepare and deliver age appropriate activities in accordance and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- To monitor, observe and assess children progress and ensure you maintain up to date records
- To promote children's emotional, social and intellectual development through structures and safe play based learning
- To ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety and welfare
- To collaborate with the team and parents
The ideal Early Years Practitioner:
- A Level 3 Qualification in Early Years
- A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework
- Experience working with young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
