Summary

Job Title: 1:1 Tutor

About the Role:
We are currently seeking committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Towcester area. This role involves working with students who may need additional academic support outside of a mainstream classroom, either within a school setting or at the pupil's home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, engaging 1:1 lessons based on individual learning needs
- Support pupils in core subjects such as English, Maths, and/or Science
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles
- Provide support to pupils with additional needs, including SEND and SEMH where required
- Monitor and report on pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and other professionals

Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles)
- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

Desirable:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience supporting SEND or SEMH pupils
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
