Summary

Year 1 Learning Support Assistant (1:1) Full Time Summer Term Hertfordshire

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference to a child’s school experience? Are you confident supporting pupils with autism in a nurturing primary setting?

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Hertfordshire seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child in Year 1 with ASD for the full summer term.

About the Role

  • Full-time position for the summer term

  • 1:1 support for a child in Year 1 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support learning, communication and emotional regulation

  • Supporting access to the curriculum through tailored strategies and interventions

  • Creating a calm, structured and supportive learning environment
