Summary

Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)

Reporting to: The Employer

Location: Chester, CH3

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:
Our client is a 43-year-old male living in Chester, who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 11 hours per week with administration support, domestic support around the home and support to access the local community & activities.

Main duties:
Social duties:
 Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
 Support accessing the local community
 Support going on day trips
 Support to go out on walks to enhance our client’s mobility

Domestic duties: Support with administration tasks such as reading and locating files & folders and help to organise these.

Support to batch cook and freeze food so our client has healthier food readily available.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Hours of work: 11 hours per week – Days/times to be discussed

Rate of pay: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour

Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
 Full UK driving licence
 Own car and appropriate insurance
 Previous experience of working with individuals with sight loss
 Good organisational skills
 Good at building relationships
 Good communicator
 A good listener

Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
