Summary
Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.

I am teenage boy who loves doing things and going out. I am very active and people around me say that I am very likeable and an endearing young lad. I love one-to-one attention. I am very clever and polite. I love talking to people and I would love to have the opportunity to learn to swim and socialise with my friends more.
About my brother:
I am a very endearing and sweet 10‑year‑old boy with a learning disability and Autism. I am adorable, gentle in nature, and have a strong love of learning. My level of understanding is very good, and I am content most of the time.
Driver required to take us out.
Hours of work
12 hours a week (Split between both children and the family)
Rate of pay.
£13.50 an hour
Essential:
I need you to:
• Take us out so we can burn off our energy and help us to go out as a family and sometimes to spend one to one time with us.
• Understand our needs with ADHD and Autism
• Support my mum for us to meet with friends and do fun things with us.
Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• You are active and help me to meet my friends in the community and take me swimming.
• You have previous experience working with children with ADHD.
I’d like support with
• Taking me out so I can have some fun and also work with my family.
I will need my PA to:
Understand the importance of my needs.
Be fun and patience with me.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive with my needs.
Have business insurance on your car to take me out.
Concerning the position
Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
