Job Description:
MALE Support Worker (MUST BE A CAR OWNER/DRIVER) up to 35hrs per week (full and part time positions available).
Come and join our wonderful Community Outreach Team who provide support, services and guidance for people with an Acquired Brain Injury enabling them to improve their independence at home and in the community leading to an improved quality of life.

Our pay scale starts at the real living wage of £13.11ph for Support Workers who are qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care with 12 months of Brain Injury experience and also includes six levels of pay up to £13.57ph.
We are looking to recruit 2 x enthusiastic, friendly, positive, caring, self-motivated individuals with support worker experience for full time or part time hours, who have the drive, personality and reliability to make a real difference to our clients’ lives. We will consider individuals who would want less than 35 hours per week. On this occasion due to our specific clients needs we can only consider MALE applicants at this time.
Your role will involve supporting clients with an acquired brain injury to attend appointments, public transport training, accessing education and voluntary work, social and leisure activities, shopping in the community and assist with day to day living skills in their homes. Minimum personal care may be required.
Support Workers (Community Outreach Personal Assistants) wear all appropriate PPE including masks when required to by clients.
Applicants will need to be a Car Driver / Owner who are willing to obtain business insurance and have experience of working with disabilities, have, or be willing to gain a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Adult Care.
Experience of working with brain injury desirable.
