As part of our continued growth we require an experienced warehouse operative to join our hard-working logistics team.
Main roles and responsibilities
• Housekeeping duties
• Stock control
• Receiving inbound goods
• Replenishment & “put-away” of goods
• Order picking
• Order checking
• Order packing
• Operation of relevant plant & machinery (when trained)
Essential knowledge & skills required:
• Must have a full UK driving license
• Must have fork truck experience & ready to be re-trained if required
• Proficient IT skills
• High level of accuracy
• High standard of numeracy & literacy
Other required knowledge & skills:
• Self-motivated & disciplined
• Health & Safety awareness
• Ability to perform repetitive light, medium & heavy lifting (max 25kg)
• A high standard of verbal & written communication skills
• Team worker
• Flexibility & adaptability
• Ability to follow work instructions / directions
• Ability to work independently being proactive where required
• Ability to work under pressure
• Keen to build on competencies within the department through training
• Committed to delivering customer satisfaction
