Summary
The post holder will provide a professional, approachable, and courteous first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring reception services are consistently delivered and appropriately covered. They will oversee patient flow within the department, monitoring waiting times and escalating any concerns promptly to support effective service delivery and a positive patient experience. The role will involve handling informal queries and concerns with discretion and professionalism, aiming to resolve issues at the earliest opportunity. The post holder will be expected to uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and data protection, ensuring all information is managed securely and in accordance with organisational policies. In addition, the post holder will produce ad hoc data reports, develop patient information materials and correspondence as required, and ensure that any incidents or complaints are accurately recorded and escalated in line with Trust procedures.
