Summary
Fire Door Joiner - Gravesend
To carry our production and assembly of Fire Doors in accordance with the manufacture technical guidance and latest British and EN standards on small and large projects works within your capabilities across on our Gravesend production facility. Ensuring all works are to a high standard within Health & Safety and Quality company requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
• To conduct the production of fire doors to manufacturers guidance and in line with our IFC third party accreditation.• To record the manufacturing of the fire door(s) via reporting software, confirming that the door meets with manufacture and installation parameters.• Working to surveys, third party specifications, risk assessment requirements, insurance and local authority notices.• Working alone and as part of a team.• Ensuring safe transportation of door sets from our production facility to site, where required.• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with our Health and Safety system• Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to Customer Care.•Manual handling of fire doors.•Removal of redundant fire doors for disposal.•Ensuring work area and storage area is always clean and tidy
Person Specification
A driven and enthusiastic individual that relish's a challenging environment, who can work under pressure and works well in a team environment or on their own, must have good communication skills. A minimum of three proven years' experience in fire door carpentry to industry standards.. Demonstrable manual handling experience with good interpersonal skills.
