NO WEEKEND OR EVENING WORKING REQUIRED CURRENTLY
Duties and responsibilities: Outreach: To visit service users in their homes, provide companionship, stimulation by facilitating activities including games, puzzles, crafts, daily living skills, IT skills, accessing the local community and accompanying on trips etc. Building based service: Work with other members of the team to provide activities and assist service users that attend the Day Centre, including assistance to attend appointments as necessary and assist with the preparation and serving of meals. Some assistance with mobility and personal tasks such as; feeding, going to the toilet, washing or with other personal tasks but this makes up a very small proportion of the time you will spend with our users. To maintain appropriate records to the required standard, undertake training or refresher courses and any other duties as required by the Manager. Previous experience working with older people with dementia is desirable but not essential. This position is zero hours per week at a rate of £12.71 per hour (subject to experience).
