Summary

This post represents an exciting opportunity to join the School of Psychology at Keele University as a Senior Lecturer to expand our offering and further strengthen our position as a School dedicated to research and teaching excellence.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Psychology and will have a clear plan to developing their programme of research in Psychology evidenced by successful independent research activity including publications in peer-reviewed journals and potential for securing external research funding. The School of Psychology works within a framework of open science, and it is expected that the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to these principles. Researchers within the School of Psychology are well supported with excellent facilities (https://www.keele.ac.uk/psychology/aboutus/equipmentandfacilities/)

In addition to pursuing excellence in research, the successful candidates will also be
expected to contribute to teaching on our Undergraduate (accredited by the British
Psychological Society) and Postgraduate courses. The successful candidate will be
supported to undertake a PGDip in Higher Education Practice to obtain Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (unless they hold an equivalent qualification).
