Paragon Education is recruiting a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery EYFS Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a welcoming early years setting in Worcester. This setting is dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where young children can develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
You will be supporting children at a crucial stage of their development, working alongside experienced early years practitioners to provide high-quality care and learning opportunities through play-based activities.
What the role involves:
Supporting children in nursery with daily routines and structured activities
Assisting with play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
Encouraging communication, social interaction, and early development skills
Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Working closely with the class teacher and early years staff
Observing and recording children’s progress and development
What you’ll need:
Experience working in a nursery or EYFS setting
A caring, patient, and energetic approach
Understanding of the EYFS framework and early child development
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing
