About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable company operating in the UK, who is seeking a dedicated IT Specialist to support and maintain their IT infrastructure. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth technical operations across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day IT support for systems, hardware, and software
Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, and networks
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure minimal downtime
Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access
Monitor system security, backups, and updates
Support cloud platforms and internal business tools
Coordinate with third-party vendors when required
Maintain accurate IT documentation and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Engineer, or similar role
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking basics
Experience handling hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
Understanding of IT security best practices
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.)
Experience supporting corporate or enterprise environments
Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems
