I am an 18-year-old young man living in Hexham and I am looking for an enabler to help me get and about and be independent from my parents. I spend time at both my mum, and my dad's house and the support will be every other weekend, preferably on a Sunday (5-10 hours).
I love:
- Singing
- F1 – especially Max and Lewis
- Going on the bus and train
- Being in quieter, calmer environments
- Being funny, telling jokes and having lots of fun
- Being outside, whatever the weather
- Going swimming
- Be a male as I need help with toileting
- Help me access activities
- Be able to drive me places but this is not essential
- Be happy to take me on public transport
- Be up for having fun and making great memories
- Help me take medication when I am poorly
- Help me to stay safe when out and about
- Help me to get drinks and snacks when I am hungry
- Keep my routines as these are very important
