Are you looking for an exciting new role within our Finance team. Care UK is an awarding winning private care company with over 200 care homes across the United Kingdom. We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Controller to join our vibrant and dedicated team.

The role: The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the provision of an efficient and accurate Cashiering function in a robust control environment whilst providing support to colleagues in the team to ensure that operational processes and procedures are being followed.



Key Responsibilities:


General Accounts Payable (AP) ledger maintenance
To support with answering AP supplier queries by phone and email
Responsible for monthly statement reconciliations as allocated by Accounts Payable and Cashiering Manager
To support with resolution of debit balances and invoice queries
Successful weekly payment runs
Adhere to effective response times for suppliers and internal colleagues
Resolution of aged unpaid issues on the AP ledger
Contribute to any process improvements within the AP area.




What We're Looking For:


Experience in an administrative role ideally within a finance team
Excellent data management skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Ability to pick up and learn the company’s financial system
