Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Lead Practitioner to lead the delivery of play activities in the Breakfast and After School Club and assist in the Early Years setting.
You will:
• Have recent relevant previous experience of working with children preferably with experience in an early years’ setting and attained Level 3 or above early years/playworker qualification or equivalent.
• Have a positive and influential outlook who role models good practice
• Be adaptable to the needs of the Club and organisation
• Be a good team worker with the ability to lead.
The role will be on a split shift basis with the following hours during term time Monday to Friday:
7:30am – 8:45am & 3:00pm - 5:45pm
In addition, working in the Early Years setting for 11 hours as the needs of the school dictate.

St Marie’s Before and After School Club and Pre School is a well-established out of school club catering for children from 3 –11 years of age.
Commitment to safeguarding
The post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulation and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations. St Marie’s Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
