We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Teacher of Music and Drama to join our experienced team. You must have experience of teaching Music to at least Key Stage 3. There may be the opportunity to teach Musicand/or Drama at Key Stages 4 and 5 dependant on experience.

As a teacher at BHFCS, you must be an excellent classroom practitioner dedicated to seeing every pupil achieve their maximum potential. If you are looking for a school that will help you to grow, inspire and develop, this may be the role for you.

This role is split 50% Music and 50% Drama and will involve:• Delivering engaging, high quality Music and Drama lessons• Inspiring creativity, confidence and a love of the arts in all students.• Contributing to school productions, concerts, enrichment clubs and wider School events.• Collaborating with colleagues to develop an ambitious curriculum and exciting performance calendar.• Supporting the development of instrumental/vocal work and ensemble opportunities.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a committed and passionate teacher of both Music and Drama.

• Has strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver practical, imaginative lessons.

• Is a team player who will work collaboratively, contributing to an inclusive, student-centred department.

• Is willing to be actively involved in the wider life of the school.
