About Us
Quarriers is recruiting a Female Team Leader (Driver Essential) for our Cowdenbeath Adult Supported Living Service in Fife. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team as we move towards a new digital care planning system.

About the Role
This is a 39‑hour post, worked over 5 days out of 7, including every second weekend and participation in the on‑call rota.
You’ll work closely with:
- The Project Manager
- One other Team Leader
- Our Admin Assistant
- Support Workers and Relief Support Workers across the service
Being a driver is essential, as you will be supporting individuals across multiple locations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Project Manager with service development and day‑to‑day operations
- Leading, supervising and guiding staff teams
- Supporting recruitment, induction and mentoring of staff
- Ensuring financial procedures are followed correctly
- Overseeing support plans, reviews, risk assessments and reporting
- Promoting strong communication and supporting positive change
- Maintaining Health & Safety and Adult Support & Protection requirements
- Building strong relationships with supported individuals, families and professionals
- Deputising for the Project Manager as needed
- Working flexibly across days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and on‑call
What We’re Looking For
- SVQ Level 3 Social Care (or equivalent)
- Willingness to meet SSSC registration requirements
- Background in social care within a values‑led, person‑centred environment
- Confidence in leading and supporting staff
- Ability to communicate well and build strong relationships
- Knowledge of social care frameworks, legislation and best practice
- IT confidence, especially helpful as we move to digital care planning
- Full driving licence (Driver Essential)
