Your new role
As the Senior QC Technician, you will take ownership of the team's housekeeping processes while supporting a wide range of day‑to‑day Quality Control activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing QC testing on intermediate and finished goods following established SOPs.
- Completing batch review of QC documentation.
- Conducting and maintaining routine instrument calibrations, and training others once competent.
- Overseeing laboratory housekeeping, cleaning schedules, and consumable/supply management.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and assisting in the resolution of quality‑related issues.
- Operating in full compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 18385 requirements.
This role has a direct impact on product integrity, production output, and overall quality performance within the site.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant life sciences discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience working in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Understanding of QC testing processes and laboratory documentation requirements.
- Ability to follow SOPs precisely and maintain high compliance standards.
- Experience with PCR is desirable, though not essential.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to train others once competent.
