Nursing - Alderbrook Care Home

Alderbrook Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home located in Leeds. The home will provide specialist Complex Care for up to 140 residents, supporting individuals with complex physical and mental health needs in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.

Registered Mental Health Nurse – Nights

  • £22.88 per hour
  • 42 hours per week
  • Night shift: 20:00 – 08:15
  • Paid breaks, Pension scheme, Free uniform, Paid DBS
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Role Overview
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse on nights, you will lead the care team to ensure residents receive safe, person-centred care throughout the night. You will deliver high-quality clinical support, create individualised care plans, complete accurate documentation, carry out routine observations, and respond promptly to changes in residents’ health.

Your role is vital in promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing, supporting residents with complex mental health needs, and providing reassurance and comfort during the night. You will also support colleagues in safe medication management and act as a clinical point of contact for any issues that arise.

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC PIN
  • Strong clinical knowledge and compassionate approach
  • Ability to lead and support colleagues during night shifts
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Genuine passion for delivering exceptional care to residents with complex needs
