Summary
A Vacancy at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for enthusiastic ECG support workers to join our staff bank to work flexibly in our ECG team at St Thomas' and Guy's Hospitals.
We are looking for skilled ECG team members who can put patients at ease at a stressful time while working efficiently and meeting our high standards of patient care.
If you are successful but do not hold the SCST certificate or diploma qualification you will be invited to an ECG training day to ensure you meet our standards.
The successful candidates will work flexibly along side out our team of ECG support workers, to assist the team and service in a positive manner, including:
Resting 12-lead ECG.
Applying ambulatory monitoring devices such as Spacelabs' Eclipse range of Holter monitors, and Blood Pressure (BP) monitors.
Maintaining a clean and well stocked working environment.
Assisting the Associate Practitioner and Non-Invasive Clinical Lead in delivering a high quality service for all our service users.

Use of Epic to monitor and manage ECG and Holter workflow.
To perform a range of resting 12 lead electrocardiograms to national and local guidelines. Reassuring and putting patients at ease.
To identify and fit the appropriate Holter as identified by the Epic order.
Fit and download BP monitors.
Stocktaking for the ECG department.
Adding data into trust IT systems.
Using Epic and Sentinel to manage work flow.
Other clerical duties as required.
