We're looking for a Shift (M&E) Technician who will operate, maintain, and support critical mechanical and electrical systems within a high‑security, high‑performance data centre environment.
Role Responsibilities:
-Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all M&E systems.
-Diagnose faults and restore critical services quickly and safely.
-Monitor and interpret Building Management Systems (BMS) to maintain optimal site performance.
-Supervise contractors and ensure all works comply with health & safety standards and permit-to-work processes.
-Support the operation of key systems including UPS, LV generators, HVAC, and control circuits.
Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below-defined requirements for the role.
-Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
-At least 3 years' experience working within a commercial M&E environment.
-Strong technical knowledge of BMS, UPS, LV generators, HVAC, and control circuits.
-Eligible to obtain and maintain high-level security clearance.
-Must hold a valid, clean UK driving licence.
